Do yourself a favor......

Go to Nielsen's Frozen Custard and get vanilla custard with fresh peaches!!!  It is to die for!  I have been twice this week and get sad every time I take the last bite because I always want more.  It's the perfect treat at the end of a hot day.  They only have fresh peaches for a limited time, so take advantage while you can.  It will change your life.

Wyatt (1) and Griffin (6 months)
Cousins are so fun!  (Note Griffin's double chin)

My nephew, Wyatt, loves his cousin Griffin.  Whenever Wyatt sees Griffin, he always gives him a big hug.  It is so cute to watch Wyatt play with Griffin.  He brings him toys to play with and lays with him on the ground.  He is such a good cousin!

Ry To The Rescue!

My Adams peanut butter withdrawls are over!!  This last weekend, Ryan flew up to Utah to help his brother pack and move to Michigan.  Of course my first thought was - Ry can get me some peanut butter!  (how sad)  So I asked him to get me a few jars but then realized he probably wouldn't want to pack it all the way to Michigan and then on the flight home.  He told me he didn't get me any so I put the thought out of my mind and made my previous post.  But because my husband is the best and always finds ways to surprise me, he came home with 4 big jars of Adams pb that he had lugged all the way from Utah to Michigan to AZ.  What a guy!  Love you honey!

During my college years, I lived in Utah and became obsessed with Adams Natural Peanut Butter. It tastes so good that I eat it by the spoonfuls. It is the best on wheat toast. One problem, you can only buy it in Utah. So for the past few years, I have been without it and resorted to Jif - full of preservatives and who knows what. This last April, we went up to Utah and I was reunited with my Adams. I bought 4 jars thinking those would last a while. Wrong! I finished the last jar in July and have been having withdrawls ever since. If anyone knows of a good, natural pb - please let me know! I am out to find one that will hold me over until I get my hands on more Adams!!

His new fav toy! Thanks aunt Rach!

On Monday, Griffin was officially 6 months old. I can't believe how fast my baby is growing! He entertains us with his noises, faces, and grabbing abilities. He is getting chunkier everyday and has started eating solid foods more. He seems to like pears. He is sitting up and getting his first tooth. We can't get enough of our little guy!!

Beach Baby!
Ryan's 2nd favorite thing to have in hand!
For the last few weeks, I have been living it up on the beach and I couldn't have been happier. I LOVE the beach! First, we went to Mexico with Ryan's parents and stayed in a condo there. We had a lot of fun and even ate at at little taco shack that was delicious! I was a skeptic about the whole taco shack thing but it really was one of the best tacos ever. We walked on the beach, looked at other condos, went swimming and shopped at the market. Thanks to my in-laws for a great trip! After that, we drove up to Cali to spend the rest of the time with my family on the beach. Some cousins on my mom's side go too and we always have the best time. We went to the beach almost everyday and ate out A LOT. It really is my favorite vacation. Griffin seemed to like the ocean, despite its freezing temp. I will have to say that the beach is just different with a baby in tow, but still fun. He did seem to roll into the sand once and put his sandy hand right into his mouth. Thanks to my parents for another fun-filled trip to Cali!! Here are just a few pics from Cali. Many more to come!
