Class of '98

Saturday night, was my 10-year high school reunion. It was so much fun to see old friends and get caught up on my former classmate's lives. Lots of people came from out of state for the festivities. The night consisted of dinner, talking, awards, and more talking. I got a box of candy for marrying someone from a rival school (toro). It was a great night! Carry on class of '98!!

Last week, Griffin and I went up to my parent's cabin with my dad, Rach, Brett and their kids. The weather was cool and the scenery was gorgeous. We had a great time relaxing in the pines. Ry had school so he could not come. Griff was in heaven running around with his big boy cousins. He thought he was 12 and didn't want me to be around while he was hangin' with the boys. It was hilarious! I thought I was a cool mom. Thanks, T, for the fun trip!!

This is Griffin's face when he is concentrating on something. He was trying to figure out some toy.
Me and my big sis!
Disco by the lake, nothin better!
Griffy loves to slide.
"Kucker" and Griff at Ava's. The best chips and salsa there!
T eating his cereal. Yes, out of a cup. No, he was not drunk the night before.
Griffin worked this ice cream cone for at least an hour.

I follow Griffin around every morning to feed him his oatmeal.
The buddies.

Date Night

On Saturday night, my boys and I ate some yummy food at Pei Wei. Griff was pretty good and only threw his chopsticks at one guy. He loved the fountain outside but it was actually a little too chilly to play in the water. Love this Fall weather! Then, we headed home and the hubby put up some Halloween lights in our front yard. Another fun night!

This Ryan's scary Halloween face.
The finished product. I LOVE lights! We added 2 big, lit pumpkins to the window sill since then.

I want Horsie

One of Griffin's latest obsessions is horses, or "horsies" as he likes to call them. Luckily, we live close to a little farm that has horsies. Every morning, we jog past the field of horses and stop to say hi to them. Last Saturday, we took a walk down to see the horsies. Griff was all smiles! So was I.

We went to the dollar store to look for Halloween stuff and happened upon this colorful horsie. Griffin went nuts and had to ride the horsie, twice. It was quite funny to watch. He loved it!

Date Night

Ever since Ryan and I have been married, we have always gone on a date at least one of the weekend nights. Since having Griffin, he is often times included on our dates. Last night, we ate at In-N-Out Burger then shared some ice cream from Dairy Queen. We came home, played with cars, relaxed then took a walk around our neighborhood. The weather was actually quite nice and breezy. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my 2 lover boys!!

Griffy loved finishing off the ice cream cone.
I think he sucked the life out of it!

Girls + Food = FUN

My cousin Katie and I had a late night "jam session" last week and busted out 3 batches of pear-raspberry jam. We are trying to make this a tradition. We don't have it down to a science yet, but we have fun and at least one batch usually turns out so it's worth it.
Rach and I at CPK with my mom and Nat after the R.S. broadcast. We had so much fun laughing and eating 'til we made ourselves sick! Excuse my double chin and man face.
Mom and Natty girl. Lookin' good in your black shirts ladies!
Today, my sisters and I made cinnamon rolls. Mmmmm.
Nat was the froster. She did a great job despite her breaking all sanitary codes.
