This last week we had visitors in town!! Dusty, Jade and Tate were here for a week and my aunt Annette came to town for a few days. We had so much fun hanging out with our relatives! We miss them already!

Dinner at Geckos
Lunch with Annette at Crackers
One night we got to babysit Tate so his parents could go out. Griffin loved having him over to play! They are so cute together and actually get along for the most part. Griffy has sharing issues that we are working on.
Griffin's first swim of the season. It didn't go over too well. He kept saying the water was cold. Must be like his mama! We took him swimming again the next day and he liked it a lot more. Thank goodness.

America got it right!

I was a Kris fan all along, so I was quite pleased that he won. I, along with everyone else, thought Adam would win but I'm glad he didn't. Adam is really good but just too creepy and rocker-ish for me. Kris is someone I could listen to anytime and not get sick of. I really like his style. And how cute was the hug between him and his wife at the end? Yay for Kris!!

Around December, Ryan decided he wanted to shed some pounds and pump some iron. A friend told him about these workout dvd's called P90x. Ry started the regimen and followed the diet for a good month. He lost about 12 pounds and then Christmas came and that was that. I did some of the workouts with him and loved it. They are quality workouts that really push you and make you sweat. There are several different workouts so you don't get bored. My favorites are plyometrics, kenpo and core. Anyways, that's all. Just thought I'd share.

The other day, Griffin and I met our friends, Melanie and Clark, at San Tan for some fun! The boys played in the water (sort of), then we got some yogurt at Yogurberry, then the boys ran around, and we finished with a visit to the pet store. Griffy had a great time with his buddy, Clark. They even have matching swimsuits! Not planned but made for great pics. We missed Cara and Luke.

Clark already sucks his belly in for pictures!
The boys loving the frozen yogurt.
Watching a movie and eating train suckers! Doesn't get much better than that.

I am refreshed, inspired and determined to be better.
Last Thursday and Friday, I was able to attend BYU Women's Conference with my lovely mom and sisters. We had so much fun going to uplifting classes, walking all over BYU campus until our legs hurt. We shopped till we dropped, literally. It was exhausting. We ate out and saw a late-night movie. We laughed a lot. And we got to stay at Aunt Annette's house which is always a treat!

Taking a rest at the Marriott Center.
Strike it, Nat!
Me and my cute sisters.
I couldn't get enough of the beautiful, snow-capped mountains.
Dinner at The Pizza Factory. My favorite!
Nat's friend, Malia, met us there. Always a fun time with that girl! Didn't get a pic of her.
At the Marriott Center after hearing Elder Perry speak. I know my face is shiney. It was humid.
Us with my Grandma Tucker and Aunt Annette.
We celebrated my Grandma's 86th birthday at Texas Roadhouse. You better believe she jumped on the saddle by herself! All those years of aerobics paid off!

Thanks, mom and sisters, for making the trip so fun! Love you girls.
And, thank you, Ry, for holding the fort down while I was gone. Griffin woke up crying for daddy instead of mommy on Sunday. He loves his daddy!
