Confession: I am a total sucker for products sold on infomercials. There, I said it. The other day I was thinking about infomercials and their ability to suck me in and convince me that I will die without their product. Hook, line and sinker. It's bad. Just the other day, I was at the gym and saw an infomercial for Sheer Cover makeup. I left the gym with the number in my cell phone ready to call and order this life changing regimen. Fortunately, my mom is a sucka too and had already purchased Sheer Cover and let me have it because it had been sitting in her "pile" for over a year, unused. And for the record, it did not change my life but I do like it. Anyways, here are some of the products I've purchased over the years...

Thanks mom! I really like the concealer and the powder brush.
I've never purchased Proactiv but someday I will. I know it will work miracles on my face!
Loved, loved, loved the ab roller. Sad I got rid of it.
Best infomercial purchase to date! This workout really works.
Dumbest purchase to date. So small and useless.
I still do my Tae bo dvd once in a while. It's a keeper!

Does anyone else have this problem? Am I missing out on any other infomercial products that I need??

Sugar baby

Some people in our household love sugar. Ok, all of us love sugar! So when Griffy asks for a strawberry shake, I can't turn him down. Strawberry is his preference. Sometimes I add a banana. Just for kicks.

The dairy goodness.
Suck it down baby!

Not so happy New Year

To celebrate New Years, we decided to go up to my parent's cabin. My parents and sister's family also went up. Backtrack - the Sunday before New Years, I had been bitten by the stomach bug and could not keep anything down all day. Luckily, it was a 24 hour thing and I was better by the morning. So we get up to the cabin on Wednesday night. Everyone is playing and laughing and happy. The calm before the storm, if you will. Midnight hit and Griff was the first one to go. He threw up all night and into the next day. Thursday was New Year's Eve and he hadn't barfed all day so we all went out for dinner. Not a good choice. He lost it during dinner. We went back to the cabin to watch the ball drop. That night, Walker and Wyatt threw up. The next day, Emery, my mom, Rach, and Ryan all joined in on the fun. That night, Brett got it. Everyone was dropping like flies! People were on the ground with bowls. It was kind of comical. My dad and Tucker were the last men standing. We packed up Saturday to head home and that's when it hit my dad. Unreal. Tucker came away unscathed, the skinny one with the picky appetite. Needless to say, 2009 went out with a bang!

Griff perked up to ring in the New Year.

Cheers to 2010!

Christmas was so fun this year with Griffin! He understood what was going on and got excited about everything. It made it all the more magical. He couldn't wait to open his presents on Christmas morning. It was a great day!

Tucker Christmas Eve Dinner

We did the Tucker Christmas Eve dinner and program the Sunday before Christmas. We had our traditional ham dinner with all the fixings. We acted out the Nativity, sang songs, opened pajamas and rode around in the back of my dad's truck to see lights. It's always chaotic but always fun!

Nat, Dave and Lucy were in town for Christmas! So fun to have little Luce here.
